Progress of Premkutir Construction
With the blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the construction of Premkutir began in the month of September. Premkutir which translates into english as 'A dwelling of love' is a humble offering of COSSS to thier beloved teachers.

Pillars and walls of First Floor have been completed till the 'Lintel' level which would reach the the roofing level in a few days. Post that the roofing activity of First Floor would be taken up. Click here to view the albumn>> |

A new road leading from Junior college block to Prem Kutir is laid which included construction of a small culvert to allow the natural flow of water below the road. The roofing of ground floor has been completed and due preparation for the construction of first floor walls has commenced. The dream project of Children of Sathya Sai is making rapid progress and is taking real shape. With Swami’s blessings, the construction of the building is making steady progress. The foundation laying and the plinth laying is completed. Now the construction of side walls is continuing as per the plan. It is with great joy we are sharing the photos of the work-in-progress. | 26-June-2009 Ground Breaking Cermony

The 'Ground Breaking' cermony of Prem-Kutir was held in the presence of elders and esteemed guests. On this occasion bhoomi pooja was conducted amidst lively bhajans from current students. Our revered teacher B.N. Narasimha Murthy narrated an incident of the early days where a saint had declared the adjoining areas Prem-Kutir to be as a 'Karma Bhoomi'. Click here to view the albumn>> |
